Launch in
any weather.
Every coin pairs with a tokenized stock, and every stock has weather: some drift like a calm front, some are a standing storm. Forecast reads the pair's storm rating and sets the launch to match — the wilder the stock, the higher your curve has to climb before it graduates.
The barometer sets the bar
Pick a station
Every tokenized stock is a weather station. The curve is quoted in the stock, like every pad in this family.
Read the storm rating
The bureau rates the pair by the stock's volatility — CALM, BREEZY, GUSTY or STORM. The numbers here are examples; a real bureau needs a real data feed.
The rating scales the launch
Calm pairs graduate at 100 units of the stock. Breezy at 120, gusty at 145, storm at 175. Wild weather needs a deeper cushion before a pool opens.
Graduate into the pool
At the bar, the curve opens a COIN/xSTOCK pool. Fee: 1% per trade in the paired stock — 0.5 dev · 0.3 protocol · 0.2 crank fund.
Check the weather first
Wind speeds are example volatility, not market data — the chart stamp says the same thing.
The rating never blocks a launch — storms are allowed. It just raises the bar, because a pool built on a wild stock with a shallow cushion is how people get soaked.
Severe weather advisory
Issued for every launch on this pad, in the same type size as the sunshine.
A forecast is not a promise
The storm rating is built from example volatility, and even a real one would be backward-looking. Past weather is not tomorrow's. Calm stocks have their hurricanes.
Storms blow both ways
Volatility says nothing about direction. A STORM rating is not "this will pump" — it is "this will move, and you won't pick which way".
The bar is a cushion, not a shelter
A higher graduation makes the pool deeper at open. It does not protect the coin's price, and it cannot stop a thin stock from gapping through everything.
Two exposures, one position
Your dollars ride the coin's ratio times the stock. In a storm pair, both legs are moving at once.
The data feed doesn't exist
Every wind speed on this page is an example. A real bureau needs a real volatility feed with a named source — it is not built, and the status table says so.
Hours, issuers, and zero
The stock keeps market hours while the coin trades all weekend, the token is an issuer claim, and most launched coins go to zero in perfectly clear weather.
The bureau is not operational
No instruments are connected.
Every wind speed, front and isobar on this page is an example drawn in your browser. The hard part of this idea is an honest volatility feed with a named source and a stated window — that doesn't exist yet, and until it does, neither does Forecast.
